Safeguarding
Safeguarding is the action the Church can take to promote a safer culture.
This means the church will promote the welfare of children, young
people and adults, work to prevent abuse from occurring, seek to
protect those that are at risk and respond well to those who have beenabused.
Safeguarding is about protecting people with regard to their health,
wellbeing and human rights and is fundamental to flourishing Christian communities.

J19 Circle of Churches are fully committed to providing a safe environment
for all activities and events in our churches. The spiritual, physical and
emotional wellbeing of all is core to our community and we seek to ensure
that our work with young people and vulnerable adults is secure and
supportive. Remember: Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility!
